HeartFirst, a group of cardiologists in Plano, Dallas, Irving, Arlington, and Hickory Creek, is excited to announce that Dr. Sushruti Boorla D.O. has gained her certification in Cardiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM). The certification program in Cardiology by this Board is a program for demonstration of excellence in the field.

Dr. Sushruti Boorla received her undergraduate degree from Baylor University, graduating with honors. She also excelled during her medical training as she was chosen as the Chief Resident and Chief Fellow in Cardiology. In July 2010, Dr. Boorla completed her general Cardiology Fellowship at Plaza Medical Center in Ft. Worth. Her areas of specialization include diagnostic catheterization, cardiac imaging, as well as a special interest in women’s cardiovascular health.
