"As of August 31st, we are on target to be 100% of our business plan, stated Dan Gezella, vice president of sales and marketing for Ashton Woods. "Our contingency sales are up from this time last year by 330% [and this shows us strong signs of increased consumer confidence," added Gezella.
According to Gezella, much of the new homes sales activity is a mix of move-up and first-time home buyers. "Our overall traffic for the division is up by compared to the first quarter of last year by almost 20%," said Gezella. "Many home buyers are also interested in the energy-efficiency aspects of our homes, which help homeowners realize as much as a 45% yearly savings on their utility bills, added Gezella.
Base pricing for a new Ashton Woods home ranges from the $120,000s to $410,000s. The builder has earned several coveted industry awards, including the Greater Houston Builders Association's Builder of the Year and Grand Award, a Texas Star Award, and a Silver Award from The Nationals.
