Spookily Clad Pets to Participate in PETCO Contest
PETCO’s annual Howl-O-Ween costume contest will take place in all PETCO locations nationwide on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m.
San Diego (Vocus/PRWEB ) October 16, 2007 -- Scary Shih Tzus, creepy Cocker Spaniels and other frightening four-legged critters dressed in their best Halloween costumes are invited to PETCO’s annual Howl-O-Ween costume contest Saturday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m.
This hair-raising celebration will take place in all PETCO locations nationwide. All participants will receive a goody bag full of Halloween-themed treats from PETCO’s treat bar and a certificate of participation. Participation in the event, co-sponsored by Greenies, Four Paws and Avoderm, is free.
Each store winner will receive a $15 PETCO gift card. Contestants will be judged on creativity, attention to detail, and pet parent involvement. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m.
Children of the human variety will also have a great time participating in a coloring contest for a chance to win a gift card for their favorite furry friend. Coloring sheets are available now. Winners will be chosen during the Howl-O-Ween event.
