AlphaStaff, a full service national professional employment organization (PEO) and human resources outsourcing (HRO) firm dedicated to small and mid sized business growth and development, announced today the appointment of Julio Chez as the company’s Regional Vice President of Southeast Business Development. In his role Chez will oversee a team of representatives and will be responsible for increasing AlphaStaff’s PEO sales activities and revenues through several key verticals including one focused on Hispanic businesses.

Prior to AlphaStaff, Chez lead sales & business development efforts for business intelligence software companies Jaspersoft, Inc., SAS Institute, Inc., and PeopleSoft, Inc. (now owned by Oracle) throughout Puerto Rico, the Latin American and Caribbean region. Chez also amassed extensive experience as both a manager and sales director for several PEO and human resources outsourcing, payroll &benefits administration solution competitors including Gevity HR (now TriNet) and Ceridian Corporation resulting in high growth in his targeted areas and through his leadership of his team of business development specialists.

Chez earned a Master’s Certificate in Commercial Project Management from ESI in Partnership with George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (cum laude) from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where he grew up. Chez moved to the United States in 1990 and worked diligently to become a US Citizen in 1999.
