Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 12, 2009 -- On May 21, 2009, Quorum Review IRB, an accredited ethics review board, launched a redesigned website at its URL of www.QuorumReview.com. Quorum's renovated website is designed with one goal - improved usability. The new website features intuitive navigation that makes it easy for users to access a wealth of information.
Quorum's website now utilizes modern coding techniques such as site wide Google-search and a depreciating search function to locate forms. Each page includes an improved navigation bar to help users locate content. "Our new website reflects Quorum's commitment to use cutting edge technology to protect participants and support our researchers," says Cami Gearhart, CEO of Quorum Review.
The new Quorum website also provides expanded content. The website guides researchers through the steps of the ethics review process with background information, links to all applicable forms, and sets of Frequently Asked Questions. Website users also can find information on Quorum's wide array of service offerings, such as the review of publicly funded studies, exemption determinations, in-house translations, working with institutions, pre-review services and training.
Many of the website updates are based on feedback from website users. Usability testing was conducted prior to the implementation of the redesigned website to ensure that information on the site could be quickly and easily located. "We're pleased that the new website provides users easy access to information for selecting an IRB and working with Quorum Review," says Arri Burgess, Director of Customer Relations.
