At a private reception held last Thursday evening, the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal unveiled its 2009 Fast 50, which ranks the fifty fastest-growing private companies in Minnesota. Imagewërks Marketing, a full-service marketing firm based in St. Paul, earned the No. 35 spot with a growth rate of 62.76% from 2006-2008.

Companies with a minimum of $1 million in revenue in 2006, and continued revenue growth for each of the last three completed fiscal years, were eligible to apply for the Fast 50. Baker Tilly, formerly Virchow Krause & Co., was the independent accounting firm for the project, assessing each company's financial stability and growth composition (acquisitions vs. organic).
