InCharge® Education Foundation Promotes Financial Literacy Through GMAC Seminar Partnership
InCharge® Education Foundation, Inc., has been awarded a $20,000 grant from GMAC Financial Services to co-sponsor a series of financial literacy courses throughout the remainder of 2008.
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) July 17, 2008 -- InCharge® Education Foundation, Inc., has been awarded a $20,000 grant from GMAC Financial Services to co-sponsor a series of financial literacy courses throughout the remainder of 2008. The courses, named "SmartEdge by GMAC," are designed to help people make better financial decisions by providing them with information about budgeting, real estate and automotive finance, insurance, credit reports, credit scoring and other tools.
InCharge Education Foundation, Inc.(ICEF), and its affiliates, including InCharge Debt Solutions, offers education, credit counseling and budget management resources to assist consumers in managing their debts by helping them develop a strategy to repay creditors and regain control of their finances. As part of their educational efforts, these organizations offer consumers online, interactive resources such as calculators and money management tools, as well as a series of workshops and seminars throughout the country. Their Web sites, www.inchargefoundation.org and www.incharge.org, offer numerous publications and self-study guides that can help consumers become more effective in managing their money.
The coordinated effort with GMAC marks the first time InCharge has collaborated with a financial services company on an educational endeavor of this scale.
