Shipshewana, Indiana (PRWEB) June 28, 2012
Since 1989, Weaver Furniture has operated like clockwork. Monday through Friday, from 9am-5pm, and from 9am-4pm on Saturdays (and closed on Sundays), LeRoy Weaver was proud to have the doors of the family's Shipshewana furniture store open come rain or shine. Apart from observing religious holidays, Weaver's counted on consistency to draw furniture-lovers through the doors. But now in 2012, Weaver's is holding their first ever Independence Week Sale (June 30-July 7) and for the first time ever, will be closed on the Fourth of July.
When asked about this rare occurrence, LeRoy's reply was two-fold: "On the one hand, we wanted to do something special for Independence Day and celebrate our nation's independence. On the other hand, we also felt it was important for the employees and the Weaver family to take one day to have 'family time' and relax." For the Weaver family, "getting away" isn't always easy. Each of LeRoy's eight children contributes (or has contributed) to helping grow the business.
The Fourth of July week has traditionally been a huge draw for the town of Shipshewana, Indiana. Thousands of shoppers and deal-hunters will walk through Northern Indiana's Amish country searching for flea market treasures, delicious foods, entertainment and beautiful home furnishings. Furniture shoppers can count on Weaver's huge sale, which includes up to 50% off close-out items and a complete store-wide sale.
