Interactive Displays 2009 will bring together the interactivity community to discover advances in technologies from multi-touch to holography, and haptics to gestures, offering a collaborative environment in which to tackle the challenges and hurdles of development and integration.

The conference, chaired by Microsoft's Steven Bathiche and Stantum's Guillaume Largillier, will offer attendees opportunities to hear directly from multi-touch visionary Jeff Han, founder of Perceptive Pixel; from Microsoft about the future of surface computing; from Wacom Technology about multi-touch and the design of user experiences, and from Mary Lou Jepsen of Pixel Qi about the affordability and usability of touch displays.

In addition, those attending will hear from BMW about their latest iDrive interface system, and from Immersion Corporation about the future of haptics in interactivity.
