"Since I'm a car enthusiast, I work on and clean my own car," said an inventor from Pinole, Calif. "It's hard to keep the wheel rims clean and safe during washing and other tasks so I conceived of a solution to this problem."

The easy-to-use RIM PRO provides a way to keep a wheel rim clean and safe during washing, tire-cleaner application or long-term storage. This prevents the rim from becoming soiled and/or damaged, increases rim longevity and ensures a sightly appearance. It's compatible with all vehicle rims and producible in different sizes. The invention may also help prevent theft of the rims.

The original design was submitted to the Sacramento office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
