Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Windshield-Wiper Accessory (DVR-809)

InventHelp, based in Pittsburgh, is submitting the BLADE SAVER to applicable companies for their consideration and potential feedback.

"After replacing my wiper blades every season, I realized that the blades suffer more damage while not in use, resting on the windshield, than they do when they are in use," said an inventor from Golden, Colo. "This inspired me to develop a way to keep them off the glass while not in use."

He created a prototype for the BLADE SAVER to keep the wiper blades off the glass while not in use. This reduces wear and tear on the blades and prevents rubber from cracking prematurely. The accessory saves the user the cost of having to replace wiper blades as often. It is adaptable for use with any automobile. Furthermore, the device prolongs the life of wiper blades.

The original design was submitted to the Denver office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
