Anyone required to wear a hard hat is aware of how uncomfortable they can become, especially in warm weather as heat builds up inside the hat, causing substantial perspiration. This can be remedied briefly by removing the hat; however, if this is done onsite it exposes the wearer to the dangers the hat is meant to avoid, as well as possible fines.
To solve this problem, an inventor from Colorado has designed the COMFY HARD HAT. "While working as an electrician, I am required to wear a hard hat in construction and other work zones," recalled the inventor. "I designed my invention to provide the same protection as hard hats, but with the added comfort for extended use, and the flexibility to maintain the warmth when needed."
The device eliminates the need to remove the hard hat while working, providing comfort and safety, as well as extending the period in which the hat can stay on. It helps the wearer to stay in compliance with OSHA regulations, and it is easy to operate. Additionally, it is producible in different colors and designs.
