"Road-crew workers are outdoors all day in the sun and heat," said one of two inventors from Middleburg, Pa. "They need a better way to keep cool. This inspired us to come up with a redesigned safety vest that helps regulate body temperature more effectively."

They created a prototype for the patent-pending COOL WORKERS WEAR, a safety vest that keeps the wearer cool. It enables the wearer to work more comfortably. The vest is ideal for wear on hot, sunny days. Additionally, it is designed for wear by individuals who work outdoors all day, such as road-crew workers.

The original design was submitted to the Lancaster office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
