"I have an e-reader that’s completely useless due to a loose jack," said an inventor from Omaha, Neb. "I used my device while it was charging, therefore making the jack loose." In order to solve this problem, she conceived her idea.

Cord Pro provides a way to stabilize the charging cord of an e-reader, smartphone or other handheld device while it’s charging. It also enables the user to use the device. By preventing the cord jack from becoming loose over time, it increases device longevity, which saves money.

The original design was submitted to the Des Moines office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
