Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Golfer's Range Aid, to companies for review.

An inventor living in Atlanta, Ga., thought there needed to be a quicker & easier way for golfers to determine distance and land gradient, so he invented the patent-pending Golfer's Range Aid.

The Golfer's Range Aid provides an effective means for a golfer to determine distance and slope gradient. It tells the golfer how far they are from the target and eliminates the need to carry range finders or other devices used to measure distance. The invention is convenient, easy to use, multi-functional, sunlight-/glare-/UV-resistant, fashionable, stylish and ideal for golfers. Additionally, the Golfer's Range Aid is producible in design variations and a prototype model is available upon request.

The inventor described the invention design. "I thought that there needed to be a quicker, easier way for golfers to determine distance from their golf ball to their target (usually the pin on the green), along with the added features of slope gradient and direction. This range finder with added land gradient/slope, wind speed and direction information would be incorporated into another device most golfers are already using today. It eliminates the need to own and carry a conventional range finder or having to purchase another wristwatch with GPS guidance."

The original design was submitted to the Atlanta office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
