Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is submitting this idea, the HAT BUD'S, to companies in the hopes of a good faith review.

An inventor from Whittier, Calif., wants to solve the common problem of earbuds not staying in while users are physically active. "I was having trouble with my earbuds popping out while doing a variety of activities," he said, "so I decided to design a way to keep this from happening."

The patent-pending HAT BUD'S is a pair of earbuds that allows for easier and stabler use of earbuds while engaged in physical activities. It prevents the earbuds from popping out of the ears, which avoids hassle and frustration. As a result, it promotes comfort and enjoyment. Easy to use and ergonomic, it's ideal for joggers, cyclists, walkers, hikers, sports-game attendees, etc.

The original design was submitted to the Orange County office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
