Two InventHelp® Inventors Develop Accessories to Protect Automotive Rims (CBA-2609)

Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Rim Protector, to companies for review.

"We needed a better way to keep our rims looking clean and shiny when cleaning the tires," said one of two inventors from Sumter, S.C. "Not wanting to have to spend all day wiping down the rims, we came up with this device to keep them protected."

They developed the Rim Protector to protect rims while tires are cleaned. The accessory prevents over-spray from marring the rim. This eliminates the need to wipe the rims down after cleaning tires, which saves time and effort. The invention extends the life of a set of rims. Additionally, the device is adaptable for use with any vehicle.

The original design was submitted to the Columbia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
