"We wanted to protect children from kidnapping and sexual abuse," said an inventor from Fayetteville, N.C. "We came up with these dolls to help children recognize uncomfortable and unsafe touching. The dolls will encourage children to refrain from keeping a secret that will hurt them."
They developed the SAFE TOUCH SARA DOLL/SAFE TOUCH KINGSTON to teach children about inappropriate touching. They promote awareness of what parts of the body are off limits to anyone else. The dolls encourage children to report any inappropriate touching to an adult. They ensure that children can recognize, respond to and report inappropriate touching. The dolls feature an accompanying sing-along song. Also, the dolls are designed to enhance the safety of children.
