Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Improved Rifle Sling (JSN-109)

InventHelp, based in Pittsburgh, is submitting this idea, the SLING MATE, to companies for their consideration.

"I am an avid hunter, and one day, while climbing down from my tree stand, my rifle slipped off my shoulder, and I almost fell," said an inventor from Valdosta, Ga. "To make sure that my rifle is secured firmly in place and will not slip, I devised this improved weapon sling."

He created a prototype for the patent-pending SLING MATE to securely hold a rifle in position over your shoulder and on your back. This prevents the weapon from shifting or slipping. It is designed to enhance personal safety. The sling also safeguards the weapon from potential damages. It attaches to most rifle hunting slings with metal swivels. It does not take the place of the hunting rifle sling; it is in addition to it. Additionally, it makes it easier to climb into and out of a tree stand.

The original design was submitted to the Jacksonville office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
