InventHelp Inventors Develop Trucking Equipment (TOR-9127)

Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is working to submit this idea, the Speedy Winch Adapter, to companies for their consideration and possible feedback.

"Having been in the trucking industry for over 30 years, I recognized the need for an improved way to rewind the tie-down straps on a flat-bed trailer," said one of two inventors from Washago, Ontario, Canada. "We came up with this idea to cut down on the manual labor involved."

They created a prototype for the patent-pending SPEEDY WINCH ADAPTER to easily rewind the cargo straps on a flat-bed trailer. The invention ends the need to rewind straps manually. This saves time and effort, and also eliminates unnecessary stress and strain. Furthermore, the unit reduces time spent in inclement weather.

The original design was submitted to the Toronto office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
