InventHelp, America’s leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Florida, has designed a hydraulic awning that could extend from the side of a van, truck or car for instant shade. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.
The “On the Spot Awning” could provide shade instantly anywhere or anytime, and would help to enhance outdoor activities and events. The automatic design would save time and effort, and could be used with any van, truck or car.
The rectangular awning would feature brackets that would move via a hydraulic mechanism. The user would mount the compacted awning to the side or back of a vehicle’s roof via a frame, and when the user presses the activation button, the brackets would extend outward until the awning is taut. Once the awning is no longer needed, the user would press the button and the awning retracts into the frame. Variations could include different colors, various advertisements and a manual version with lever-operated extension and retraction.
“As a car detailer, I’m familiar with various vehicles and how they can be improved,” said the inventor. “What is needed, I thought, is a way to set up an awning for shade in any location and at any time.”
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 10-MIM-3417 at (800) 851-6030.
