The workshop name “Yikes!” suggests the dilemma business professionals find themselves in as they ride online and offline networking roller coasters without producing any results. Co-presenters Rick Itzkowich and Phil Berg met at a conference they were both speaking at in Dubai. They both agreed the marketplace needed a workshop to address ways to maximize the time and money invested in business networking.

Typically offline networking events result in business card collections or smartphone bumps without a plan for following up. Online business social portal LinkedIn becomes a parking lot for a person’s photograph and brief resume. With a goal to combine their unique perspectives and tried and proven solutions, the Yikes! WORKSHOP was created. The workshop is designed for organizations or companies to bring to their city or for meeting planners to include in their corporate conference agenda.
