J. M. Krause’s new novel, “High Orbit Hero: A Blackmailed Teen’s Struggle to Protect His Sister” (published by iUniverse), narrates a startling story of blackmail, struggle and coming of age.
The book will be featured at this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair, the world’s largest trade fair for books. More than 7,000 exhibitors from over 100 countries and more than 200,000 visitors are expected at the fair which will take place over five days, October 5 – 13, 2013.
In “High Orbit Hero,” Krause creates an intriguing storyline with a futuristic human settlement on a space station as the backdrop, and engages the reader with a plot that threatens the life, liberty and dignity of the hero Geoff Anders and his quest to protect his sister Barbara.
The villains in the story are a couple of powerful gang leaders who will stop at nothing to get their way. Krause creates a vivid picture of a teenager’s life, narrating the high-voltage skirmishes that Geoff has with his surroundings as well as with his inner self.
“High Orbit Hero” takes the reader through all the challenges the hero faces, revealing how he endures and fights back, all the while finding new strength from within.
