Jackson Healthcare Ranked 48th of All Health Companies on Inc. Magazine's 2008 List of 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies
Second Annual Inc. 5000 survey recognizes Alpharetta-based Company for outstanding growth, and success in navigating troubled economy.
Alpharetta, GA (Vocus/PRWEB ) August 28, 2008 -- Jackson Healthcare (JH) has been named to Inc. magazine's second annual Inc. 5000, a prestigious listing of the nation's fastest growing and most entrepreneurial private companies. Jackson Healthcare is ranked 40th on the list when ranking companies by gross dollars of growth and 60th on the list when ranking companies by total revenues. These rankings represent significant growth as Jackson Healthcare revenues were over 260 million dollars in 2006. Jackson Healthcare improved its overall ranking from 1,670 to 1247th overall.
Factors contributing to Jackson Healthcare's high rankings are a 48% growth in revenues year over year, its innovation in the staffing and healthcare IT business, and numerous recent awards including placing 8th on the 2007 Atlanta Business Chronicle's "Best Places to Work" annual list.
The Inc. 5000 is an expansion of the longstanding Inc. 500, which was introduced in 1982 to recognize the nation's fastest growing, top entrepreneurial companies. The Inc. 5000 includes the Inc. 500 but digs deeper to offer the most comprehensive look ever at the entrepreneurial engine driving the U.S. economy. In particular, companies that made the Inc. 5000 list continue to thrive despite continued stagnation in the economy.
