Mike Davidson Ford Dealers Jacksonville invite the whole community to come out this Saturday for an afternoon of monster-sized excitement. The Jacksonville Ford dealers are honored to present the Blue Thunder Monster Truck team for a public appearance at Mike Davidson Ford of Jacksonville’s Regency Location. Fans who want to meet the drivers for pictures and autographs or just get an close-up look at the infamous Blue Thunder should come visit the Good Guys at Mike Davidson Ford Jacksonville.

Bring the kids to see the baddest monster truck around up close and in person. On August 13, 2010 from 4-7pm at Mike Davidson Ford, the Built Ford Tough Blue Thunder Monster Truck team will have the big blue beauty on display. Also, drivers Linsey Weenk and Frank Krmel will be on hand to sign autographs, take pictures, and greet monster truck fans. The team is in town to award local resident Kelli Cobb with a Blue Thunder themed BBQ as she is the winner of the 2010 Monsters on Mainstreet Grand Prize.

Kelli Cobb, a professional model who lives in Jacksonville won the sweepstakes earlier this year. She won the grand prize of a 2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty truck, tickets for her and 3 friends to the exclusive Monster Jam Awards Banquet in Las Vegas, and the aforementioned Blue Thunder themed BBQ for 25 guests in the backyard of her house. Also she received a bevy of Blue Thunder merchandise and has already gotten to meet the Built Ford Tough Blue Thunder Monster Jam drivers. Between the brand new Ford Truck, the Las Vegas trip, and the BBQ the total value of this grand prize was over $50,000.

On March 27, 2010, in front of a sellout crowd of 37,000 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Kelli Cobb started up an all-new 2011 Ford F-Series Super Duty. While in Las Vegas, Kelli attended the Double Down Built Ford Tough Party in the Pits and the Monster Jam World Finals qualifying rounds on March 26th and the Monster Jam World Finals on March 27th. As the Monsters On Mainstreet Grand Prize winners, they were special guests at the 2010 Monster Jam Banquet on March 28th to celebrate with all of the Monster Jam drivers and crew.

This was the fifth Monsters On Mainstreet sweepstakes presented by Built Ford Tough Ford Trucks. The sweepstakes started in September 2009 and brought in a record number of entries. After this Saturday, the Blue Thunder team will be moving on to Sunrise, FL for the Monster Jam Summer Heat presented by Ford Trucks on August 20th.

The 2011 Ford F-Series trucks will no doubt once again set the standard for full-size trucks. The flow-through center console gives customers the option of two reclining seats with a redesigned split seat (40/20/40), making it a little more comfortable for the person in the middle. Available with three uniquely different engines, the 4.2 liter V-6, 4.6 liter Triton V-8, and the 5.4 liter Triton V-8 all which have terrific horsepower and torque. The 5.4-liter Triton V-8 engine delivers 320 horsepower and 390 ft.lbs of torque.

Like all Ford Trucks, the Ford F-250 Super Duty that Ms. Cobb won in the sweepstakes has options galore: SIRIUS satellite radio, Ford SYNC navigation system, trailer sway and traction control, automatic shift-on-the-fly four-wheel-drive, power-adjustable pedals, a remote-sliding back glass window and a reverse back up camera. Clearly, Ford Trucks are still the Monsters of the Full-size truck line.
