What happens when a highly recognizable name in Internet marketing and a free-thinking, self-teaching guru (and also a digital marketing influence himself) are brought together online? The result is ThinkActGet.com, a newly launched website that features podcasts on a diverse range of business and life improvement topics by Sydney, Australia-based entrepreneur James Schramko and New York City-based marketer Ezra Firestone.
James Schramko is the CEO of Super Fast Business, a venture which he manages from home (and from various corners of the planet) that offers a high-powered arsenal of products and services that can help online businesses grow faster. His offerings include services in web design (VREDirect and ATLWeb), traffic (SEOPartner, LinkJuice, TrafficSure), product reviews (Buy With Bonus), business (Silver Circle and Wealthification), Internet business (Fast Web Formula), and many others.
Ezra Firestone is the owner and creative director at Smart Marketer Inc., an information hub for do-it-yourself entrepreneurs, as well as owner and partner at BOOM! By Cindy Joseph, the first pro-age cosmetic line for women of every generation. A firm believer in willpower and self-teaching (and a self-professed vegan and yoga practitioner), Firestone is also the head of We Are Family Manhattan, an all-volunteer non-profit organization that distributes surplus goods and food to people in need in New York City.
"ThinkActGet.com helps business owners learn about mindset ideas that can help them grow their business and improve their life," explains Schramko. "The podcast site focuses on mindsets and combines hippie Ezra Firestone with business brand James Schramko in good, entertaining and informational discussions."
The pilot podcast, now accessible on the site, promises to help subscribers "think differently, act faster, and get high performance results for your business." According to Schramko, the main point of the new site is to recognize that "what you think determines how you act, which results in what you get."
"The things that we think about guide us in what actions to take, and those actions determine the results we get," he elaborates. "Everything we've got now is a result of something we've thought about and acted on in the past."
Running just under 40 minutes, the web episode launches into a discussion of willpower and how it can become a permanent part of any individual's life. "If you think about something and you don't take action, nothing happens. What it takes to take action is willpower," Firestone points out. "ThinkActGet.com is about how willpower can produce positive results in business and in life."
In addition to discussing willpower (as well as recommending exercises in strengthening willpower, such as challenging oneself to commit to an especially difficult goal for 30 days), the initial podcast also focuses on weighing value returns, knowing the value of face-to-face interactions between businesses and customers, creating one's own business event in the local community, implementing positive routines, and establishing a system of rewarding good behavior.
Subscribers to ThinkActGet.com’s podcasts "can expect to laugh, to think, and to apply some new ideas to their business and improve the outcomes they are getting based on the philosophy."
"The 'Foolosophy' is this: if we can improve the way we think, then our actions will be better, thus resulting in greater outcomes," shares Schramko. The co-hosts invite business owners, online marketers, and anyone aiming to further condition and develop their mindsets for fuller lives and business success to subscribe to ThinkActGet.com's free newsletter for regular email updates on the latest posts.
