On Monday, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Aereo.
Tech analyst Jeff Kagan offers comment on this story.
Today the Second Circuit Court of Appeals ruled and cleared the path for Aereo. What can we expect next from this company?
“Todays court ruling cleared the path for Aereo. The big question is what’s next? Does this clear the way for Aereo to start growing or will the companies who brought suit, think of new ways to block the company? There is no way to tell for sure yet. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens next," according to Principal analyst Jeff Kagan.
“If they are done challenging Aereo, then I think we can expect a rapid rollout going forward. If not, then we can expect more delays like we have seen over the last year. I think the marketplace welcomes the idea of new competitors with innovative ideas. That increased competition will bring more innovation and lower prices. That is something that users would welcome," says Technology industry analyst Jeff Kagan.
