Samsung says they expect to hit sales of 10 million Galaxy S4 smartphones within the first month according to industry trade Fierce Wireless on May 17.

“If the Galaxy S3 was a home run for Samsung, it looks like the new Galaxy S4 may be a grand slam home run. The Galaxy S4 is outselling the S III in the first month of sales. That’s impressive. Can Samsung keep up this sales level?” Says Tech analyst Jeff Kagan.
“Samsung is selling the Galaxy S4 faster than any other device, and it has only been on the market for a few weeks so far. While it will sell on every major carrier, it is not yet. That means we could be seeing an incredible success story building with this device.” Says analyst Kagan.
Samsung CEO JK Shin said it took 50 days for the Galaxy S III to hit the 10 million mark. AT&T Mobility is selling the device already. Sprint Nextel and T-Mobile launch had to be pushed back because of what Samsung calls, high demand. Verizon will start selling it May 23.
C Spire Wireless, US Cellular, Leap Wireless Cricket are all coming online with sales as well.
“It looks like customers can choose the carrier they prefer, since this device is going to be sold on all the major networks. Samsung is climbing their growth wave and this is exciting to see.” Says Kagan.
