Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 01, 2013

T-Mobile completed their acquisition of MetroPCS today.

Wireless analyst Jeff Kagan comments on this story.

“It will be a while before we know whether this T Mobile, MetroPCS merger will help the company. This is just the kind of move T Mobile needed to make. This merger will strengthen T Mobile and help them compete, but it really won't impact the competitive environment or other companies like AT&T, Verizon or Sprint.” Says Principal analyst Jeff Kagan.

“T Mobile is getting busier again with this merger, the iPhone, new pricing models and so on. We could be seeing the beginnings of a new competitive force. The marketplace needs T Mobile to beef up and really compete against AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.” Says Kagan.

“Hopefully this is the beginning of an upswing for the company. We'll have to keep our eyes open and see what happens next.” According to Kagan.
