a true survivor’s story that will strengthen and empower victims everywhere

Worldwide, approximately 40 million children below the age of 15 are subjected to child abuse each year according to the International Center for Assault Prevention. Behind this alarming number of victims are the individuals who grow up and suffer from trauma over the circumstances they need to endure. In her debut publication, Keturah C. Martin shares her story and testifies that “Jesus Never Wastes Pain” (published by Xlibris).

This book was written as a beacon of hope and inspiration for abuse survivors and everyone with enough love to walk alongside them and understand them. It is set up in bite-sized, daily chunks of reading so as not to overwhelm those who may be just surviving the aftermath of abuse one breath at a time. In the heart of this heartfelt narrative is the power of God and what remarkable things He can do with a shattered soul and heart when they are yielded to His loving hands.

Specifically written to give abuse survivors a small chunk of hope and courage each day, this inspiring and redemptive story is a true testament of the power of grace. It is a true survivor’s story that will strengthen and empower victims everywhere.

About the Author
Keturah C. Martin is a single mother of four children residing in Ontario, Canada. She grew up at the foot of the Rockies, where her victimizations began as a young child and ended when God, through some pastors, rescued her from severe domestic violence. Throughout her growing up years, from age four to 20, she suffered from uncontrolled epilepsy. A 12½ hour brain surgery in 1988 corrected the seizures and also the life-threatening 24-hour depression, which each seizure produced. She is a survivor of repeated physical, sexual, verbal, emotional, spiritual, domestic violence, and satanic ritual abuses. She is alive and healing because of the preservation of God as the Angel of His presence saved her. Hope and healing has been attainable only through Jesus and His out-pouring of love and grace.
