In his new memoir, “Putting Life on the Finish Line: Running to Victory” (published by iUniverse), author Joe Sinclair shares a story about fitness and how he became a runner in his mid-60s.
“This book details how anyone, regardless of age, can find hope in their quest to fulfill a lifelong dream through grit and determination,” Sinclair writes. “It is never too late to overcome challenges in order to achieve success.”
At age 62, Sinclair, a lifetime fitness enthusiast with a background in physical education, developed a passion for running. “Putting Life on the Finish Line” details how he began his long distance running career in his mid-60s, running over 150 marathons. The book offers tips and encouragement to those who also share the desire to one day make their dreams a reality.
Sinclair believes his book will appeal to a variety of readers: “‘Putting Life on the Finish Line’ is a must-read for those who have been told they are too young or too old to achieve their goals in life, for those who think outside the box, for those who desire to improve their health and fitness, and for those determined to make a positive difference for others.”
