Houston, TX (PRWEB) October 07, 2013
St. Thomas Episcopal Headmaster Michael Cusack and Admission Director Jennifer Crosthwait invite prospective families and their children to an open house at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14.
Since 1955, Saint Thomas' Episcopal School has formed honorable men and women through a classical education grounded in a Christ-centered world view. It is a private, parochial Pre-K-12 school, but also has an early childhood learning program, and a K-Bridge program, which assists children who have mastered most pre-kindergarten material, but could use some reinforcement in key areas.
The program begins promptly at 1 p.m. in the chapel with a short performance by the school’s award-winning orchestra.
After the program, short video, and opening remarks, students and parents will tour the school, led by student ambassadors, and will also hear from division heads from the lower, middle, and upper schools, which contain grades 1-5, 6-8, and 9-12 respectively. After the tour, parents will be able to meet teachers of core subjects and electives, the athletic director and coaches and also ask additional questions.
Reservations are not required. Questions may be directed to admissions(at)stes(dot)org.
All students and their parents who are interested in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 are encouraged to attend this free open house and “see the difference.” St. Thomas is conveniently located at 4900 Jackwood in Houston, off of Loop 610 between Beechnut and S. Braeswood, behind the Meyerland shopping center. For more information, visit http://www.stes.org, or call 713-666-3111.
