Kami Dempsey and her team released their own version of Carly Rae Jepson’s “Call Me Maybe,” the It Works! Way.
Kami Dempsey, the top money earner in It Works! Global, gathered over 80 of her team members to take part in this top secret mission. People flew in from all over the United States for the opportunity to participate– the majority of them not knowing what they were getting themselves into. The entire video was shot at the new Dempsey home and was captured all in one take (many takes leading up to the flawless final take).
If you have been paying attention to any news these over the past few months, you surely have heard the craze behind Carly Rae Jepson. In February, she was a fairly unknown singer who released a song, "Call Me Maybe.” Today, she tours with Justin Bieber. Along the way parodies FLOODED the scenes from sources like the Harvard Baseball Team, and the Miami Dolphins’ Cheerleaders. A parody even made it’s appearance during the 2012 Summer Olympics.
“We put a lot of time into studying each of the different existing parodies to figure out where they would fit in best with our version,” said Dempsey’s Husband, Nathan. “We had way too much fun making this video!”
One of the main strategies It Works! Representatives use is a tactic called, “Blitzing.” A Blitz Card is a coupon with proof of what our first-to-market product, The Ultimate Body Applicator can do for people in 45 minutes. The idea came to Kami’s director of marketing, Brooke Hardy after hearing a fellow team member point out that handing someone a Blitz Card without asking for their information in return is like saying, “Hey! Here’s my number, so call me maybe?!”
