Karhunt.com, the best and easiest car-shopping website, today announces its goal to raise $20,000 for Primary Children's Hospital with a "Karwash for Charity" from 10 AM- 6PM, Saturday June 23 at Ken Garff Honda Downtown.
"We launched Karhunt.com officially on May 1 of this year and the response has been an amazing 5 times increase in our site traffic,” says Josh Nichols, President of Karhunt.com. “We figured that the easiest way to give back would be to host an event that gets users a great deal on a 'karwash' and gives us the opportunity to support Primary Children's Hospital, a great local cause.”

The "Karwash" as it has been dubbed, invites users of the site as well as anyone that wants to participate to bring their car to Ken Garff Honda Downtown (900 South State Street Salt Lake City, UT 84111) for a $10 exterior car wash starting at 10AM, Saturday June 23. In addition, those attending the event will be able to purchase food and raffle tickets to win prizes donated by local businesses including: Palm Beach Tan, High Energy Labs, Dry Cleaning Superstore in Draper, UT, Rumbi Island Grill, Best Buy, Elase, Krispy Kreme Donuts and many others. A portion of all proceeds goes to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT.
Not to be outdone, Ken Garff Honda Downtown is getting in on the action and is providing the location for the the event as well as donating a portion of every car service (oil change, scheduled maintenance, etc.) purchased that day, and will donate $100 for every car sold to the cause as well.
"I've had several children who have gotten back surgery at Primary Children's," says Wayne Petersen, Ken Garff Honda's general manager. "It's a great cause and we're excited to be sponsoring and co-promoting the event with Karhunt.com."
