Patrick Smith, Senior Director of Group Sales for North America, for The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd., has announced the appointment of Mr. Chris DeVito to the position of Director of Group Sales in North America for the West Coast U.S. market.
Based in the company’s Los Angeles office, Mr. DeVito will be responsible for the West Coast group market segments and will lead the Western Region group sales teams for North America promoting travel to over 430 luxury properties in over 80 countries within the Leading Hotels of the World portfolio.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Smith noted, “Chris is uniquely qualified to spearhead our group sales efforts and lead our team on the West Coast. Mr. DeVito brings more than 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his current role. Most recently, he served for over a decade with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in a variety of sales roles, including as a member of the opening sales teams of Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale and Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora. He received his Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management from Northern Arizona University and resides in San Marcos, California.
