Brad Torgersen will see his first novel, "The Chaplain's War" published with Baen Books.
It all started when Brad was awarded as a winner at the 26th Annual L. Ron Hubbard Achievement awards held in Hollywood, California in 2010. He has been steadily publishing since. Within a couple of months of the ceremony, Brad had his second story in print, and has now seen over 16 publications of his shorts in just 3 years. He has had eight published stories in Analog magazine, two in the "Intergalactic Medicine Show", two in "Galaxy's Edge", he has appeared in the 2012 Nebula Showcase anthology, and additionally several other anthologies.
"The Chaplain's Assistant" appeared in "Esli" magazine (Russia) initially as a short story and Brad has now made it into a novel, called "The Chaplain's War."

Brad's rocket-ride career has been a life-long dream of which he recently stated, "Too much fun. And it all began with the Contest."
The Writers of the Future contests was initiated by L. Ron Hubbard in 1983 shortly after returning to the field of science fiction with his bestseller Battlefield Earth.
