Life coaching has typically been reserved for adults, but not anymore. Life coaching is tremendously beneficial to children as well, according to Renaye Thornborrow, who has launched Adventures in Wisdom™, a breakthrough life coaching program for kids that teaches children ages 6-12 how to create happy fulfilling lives.

The program can be purchased in audio (CD set or MP3s) or eBook form and is the first-of-its kind to be lead by a “character mentor”, Wyatt the Wise Wizard, who uses stories and activities to teach over 25 critical life skills. Five segments – MindPower, InnerPower, MePower, DreamPower and Slaying Dragons, are divided into 5 to 15 minute time blocks that are perfect for short trips in the car between activities and errands. Everyone can listen to the audio and discuss the lessons together or older kids can self-study in the back seat.

“When I began exploring the field of personal development twenty years ago, I often said to myself, ‘Why didn’t I learn this when I was a kid?’” said Thornborrow, a certified coach, former marketing executive in the K-12 industry and mother of twins. “Parents don’t have time to read the top personal development research and then figure out how to teach the concepts to their kids, so we’ve done it for them.”

Delivered in a "learning without lecture" format, kids have fun learning how to cultivate self-esteem, overcome fear, learn from their mistakes, stand up to peer pressure, and achieve their goals.
