Conlon Wins Life Care's Heartland Division President's Award

Life Care Centers of America honored John Conlon, vice president of the company's Hoosier Region, with one of its two Heartland Division President's Awards on Monday, Sept. 21.

John has demonstrated professional skill and compassion in dispatching his responsibilities to the associates, residents and families he serves

He has uniquely demonstrated a leadership style for others to emulate.

Rensselaer, Ind. (Vocus/PRWEB ) September 22, 2009 -- Life Care Centers of America honored John Conlon, vice president of the company's Hoosier Region, with one of its two Heartland Division President's Awards on Monday, Sept. 21.

The President's Award is presented for distinguished service in the long-term health care management role.

Conlon was praised for his attention to detail, focus on customers and mentoring of the executive directors in each of the eight buildings in his region. Most recently, he spearheaded an initiative to improve the dining experience at the facilities. Because of this initiative, residents across the region enjoy more choices, better quality of food and better meal presentation.

Fourteen President's Awards are presented annually to leaders of overall successful facilities or organizations within Life Care. Criteria for winners include at least two years of service with Life Care, adherence to the company's mission and values statement and successful financial performance.

The Heartland Division is one of seven divisions within Life Care and encompasses 39 facilities in Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri and Nebraska.

The Hoosier Region office is located at 13909 E. Grace St., in Rennselaer.
