Introduced at SEMA Las Vegas in 2006, The Black Lightning Glove has received international acclaim in the automotive industry for its ground breaking design and comfort. Pamela Dillon, Lightning Gloves representative states: "Black Lightning Nitrile Gloves are chlorinated and quadruple leached. This ensures the cleanest, most comfortable glove possible. All hand protection is created with the use of chemicals. In order to ensure that as much chemical residue is removed from the glove as possible, the Black Lightning Glove received 4 separate 'baths' before packaging. Hand irritation and sweating is a common sign of improper or inadequate washing and a common complaint from automotive professionals. Black Lightning Gloves have been shown to relieve the chemical irritations indicated by profuse sweating."

Now, after two years of research and again by taking the compilation of comments and suggestions from members of the automotive industry, Lightning Gloves has added two new gloves to the Lightning line: White Lightning and Blue Lightning. Both gloves are made from latex. The White Lightning is a thick 8 mil, while the Blue Lightning provides the wearer with the utmost in protection with a 15 mil thickness and a long 12 inch cuff.

The addition of latex gloves to the Lightning Gloves line came from researching different chemicals found in the automotive industry. Pamela Dillon explains: "Different glove materials hold up to specific chemicals differently. For example, nitrile, the material found in our Black Lightning Gloves, holds up extremely well to gasoline, diesel fuel, and turpentine. On the other hand, latex, the material for our new White and Blue Lightning Gloves, holds up to acetone, ketones, and thinners."

Lightning Gloves representatives will be providing product demonstrations and samples of their new gloves at booths during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week in Las Vegas, Nevada starting November 4, 2008. Visit us at Booth 13018 at SEMA, Booth 5556 at AAPEX and Booth N2837 for product demonstrations and samples.
