TG Launches Online Tool List Assist to Help Schools Develop Recommended Lender Lists

TG has launched a new survey-creation tool, List Assist, designed to help financial aid officers develop a recommended lender list by adding objectivity to their lender selection process.

Round Rock, TX (Vocus/PRWEB ) December 4, 2008 -- TG has launched a new survey-creation tool, List Assist, designed to help financial aid officers develop a recommended lender list by adding objectivity to their lender selection process. List Assist enables administrators to create online surveys, or requests for information (RFI), in order to collect student lender information, evaluate the information, and document the choices for a recommended lender list. Administrators can tailor the surveys to best focus on the needs of their students.

"The development of a recommended lender list can be cumbersome," said Kim Alexander, Vice President of Customer Focus for TG. "List Assist helps jump-start the beginning steps by providing financial aid officers time-saving, automated tools for their lender-survey process."

List Assist was created with the help of financial aid professionals around the country. Besides being offered as a no-cost service for schools, other features of the online tool include:

  • A library of customized survey questions,
  • The ability for administrators to create their own questions,
  • The flexibility to rank questions and weight lender answers,
  • The capability to manage and reuse surveys for multiple or future RFIs, and
  • A printable document containing the survey results.

List Assist also offers benefits for lenders by providing a convenient way to respond to RFIs. Although any lender can respond to individual survey requests, lenders registered with TG can use List Assist to help track and manage survey requests from multiple schools. Lenders can reuse responses from past RFIs, thus saving time from answering repeated survey questions.

"List Assist provides an efficient means for financial aid officers to create and save their lender surveys, record their selections, and keep the communication lines open and transparent between their offices and lenders," Alexander explained.

Since its launch on October 31, financial aid offices from more than 60 schools have already begun using the List Assist process.
An online demo for List Assist is available for viewing.
