San Antonio. TX (PRWEB) August 26, 2014
The Editorial Board of Living with a Disability magazine has published an important new article on skin disorders as a disabling condition in order to mark National Psoriasis Awareness Month, which occurs every August nationwide.
As Living With a Disability magazine’s new article highlights:
“Skin is the body’s largest organ, and when functioning optimally it protects individuals from bacteria, viruses and extreme weather conditions,” commented Living with a Disability magazine’s associate publisher Joshua C. Eyestone. “However, skin can become diseased or damaged as a result of a variety of factors, and individuals who can no longer live their life to the fullest as a result of a disabling skin condition have the exact same right as any other American worker to apply for financial support through the Social Security Disability Insurance program.”
Added Mr. Eyestone: “However, the application process is can be – and often is – a confusing, complicated and costly uphill climb for individuals who aren’t intimately familiar with the process, and don’t know what kind of documentation they need to present, or how lengthy and detailed their medical history needs to be. That’s why it’s essential to work with an experienced social security disability attorney, who will provide advice and guidance claimants need before and during their application process.”
