LoopUp, the provider of simple, pain-free conference calls and online meetings, has been named as a finalist for Best Enterprise Service of the Year in the World Communication Awards 2013.
The World Communication Awards, which is in its 15th year, recognizes companies and individuals responsible for innovations that underpin the industry. The awards are judged by an experienced panel of independent experts. Nominees this year include AT&T, Orange, BT, Vodafone, Ericsson and Huawei.
LoopUp’s nomination focused on how its product fundamentally improves the conferencing experience for business professionals, solving classic frustrations such as not knowing who’s on the call, distracting background noise and difficulties sharing presentations and visual content with guests. Further, the nomination highlighted LoopUp’s rapid growth into new markets and increasing set of major international distribution partners.
“We’re excited to be shortlisted for this award, which recognizes the difference we’re making in the world of enterprise collaboration,” said Steve Flavell, co-CEO of LoopUp. “Our cloud-based conferencing product helps business professionals – who, let’s face it, have disliked conference calls and online meetings for years – get more done with a lot less frustration on their daily remote meetings. More and more people – customers and analysts alike – are now agreeing with us that conferencing is actually not the commodity that many considered it had become. Purchase decisions can, and should, be based on a materially better and more productive experience for their end users, as opposed to just price.”
Winners of the World Communication Awards will be announced at a gala dinner in London on December 3rd 2013, which will be attended by more than 500 senior industry executives from around the globe.
