Successful entrepreneur and driller, now author, Lucios Dale Johnson has not been where he is now if not for the lessons of the past he hast learned the hard way. His memoir and debut publication retraces his life from his childhood days and reveals a time when he lived “The Uncommon Life As a Safe Cracker” (published by Xlibris).

“The Uncommon Life As a Safe Cracker” is about Johnson’s life. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, but after a family tragedy, they had to move to Reading, Pennsylvania. Johnson was 10 years old at the time. There were a lot of ups and downs in his life just like everybody else, and the book tells readers all about them.

When he turned 18 and was looking to find himself, he got into a lot of different things in life. Then he met a professional safecracker. That turned him into a commercial burglar for over 22 years. He was arrested in 1984 for three bank burglaries. After he was released from federal prison, he moved to Philadelphia and started a straight life with the help of his long time profession, drilling.

Straightforward and candid, this one of a kind memoir unveils a somewhat not-so-known occupation as a commercial burglar and safe-cracker. The risks and the consequences those kinds of people face after being caught are also vividly detailed. “ The Uncommon Life As a Safe Cracker” is both a revealing and eye-opening account that shares not only the author’s journey but a true, albeit uncommon, kind of job.
