LunaDisc has had a solid first week on the popular crowd funding website Kickstarter. It has passed $11,000 in funding and is almost to 100 backers. The LunaDisc started its funding campaign June 15 with a goal of raising $50,000.

The LunaDisc is a new variation of the company’s already popular Pocket Disc, a 100% cotton, crocheted colorful flying disc. The LunaDisc will have LED lights throughout, making it fun to play with both in and outdoors and now at night.

Depending on how much money is raised by the campaign, Phd Productions will be creating new disc patterns and new Kickstarter rewards. The company is also holding contests on Twitter and Facebook, with winners getting free Pocket Discs.
