MH370 Mystery Possibly Avoided With Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. Technology

The technology exists today which could precisely track an aircraft but beyond that, a similar technology can enable the condition of an airplane and of its major systems to be instantaneously transmitted if and when required, said Pierre J. Jeanniot, Former President and CEO of Air Canada.

Every airline has the obligation to do its utmost to keep families and loved ones informed in the event of a major catastrophe, said Pierre J. Jeanniot, Former President and CEO of Air Canada.

Star Navigation Systems Group’s STAR-A.D.S. ™ (OTCBB:SNAVF) ends “missing” flights worldwide with the use of technology that transmits flight data in real-time and is more reliable than what is currently in use.

According to recent news, family members of those on Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 have expressed their frustration with airlines officials’ inability to provide information. The missing flight and therefore missing flight data and cockpit voice recorders have left investigators and family members without any knowledge as to the causes of the loss. However, using Star’s STAR-A.D.S. ™ (Airborne Data Service) technology and satellite communications, airlines and aviation authorities could receive real-time location and critical status information consistently throughout a flight.

“Every airline has the obligation to do its utmost to keep families and loved ones informed in the event of a major catastrophe,“ said Pierre J. Jeanniot, a well-known former airline executive and Former President and CEO of Air Canada (1984-1990).

STAR-A.D.S. ™ reads, analyzes, stores and transmits location and flight data in real-time via satellite communication. The STAR-A.D.S. ™ utilizes encrypted data sent via satellite to a ground station that is then immediately available to a customer data center. It offers real-time in-flight analysis, flight tracking, monitoring and end-of-flight reports.

In 2014, if STAR-A.D.S. ™ was installed on the Malaysian Airlines fleet, the recovery efforts would be much easier and the plane likely located and recovered quickly. More importantly, details and information concerning the loss and its possible causes are shared with the families in a timelier manner.

Former President and CEO of Air Canada (1984-1990) and a driving force behind the development of the first comprehensive flight data recorder, Pierre Jeanniot has offered his opinion on both the duties of airlines and the aviation industry to upgrade the technology used to monitor aircraft and enhance safety. Shortly after stepping down as Director General and CEO of the International Air Transport Association in 2004, Jeanniot is on record stating, “The black box is obsolete. New technology is now available that would make the recovery of downed aircraft and analysis of the factors leading to the loss a much surer and faster task than it is today.”

“The technology exists today which could precisely track an aircraft but beyond that, a similar technology can enable the condition of an airplane and of its major systems to be instantaneously transmitted if and when required,” said Jeanniot when asked about MH370. “That technology can be totally cost-justified by improved punctuality, reduced delays and by enhancing an airline’s operating efficiency by providing comprehensive reporting directly to the appropriate departments instantaneously, if and when required.
