MTU Onsite Energy Names New COO

MTU Onsite Energy Corp. appoints Todd Riemann as chief operating officer for its Mankato, Minnesota operations. Additional management appointments include: Mark Seely, after sales manager; Charlie Trier, parts and service manager; David Pitzer, regional sales manager and Steve Hanek, industrial sales manager.

Mankato, MN (Vocus/PRWEB ) July 10, 2009 -- MTU Onsite Energy has recently appointed Todd Riemann to the position of chief operating officer for the company's Mankato, Minnesota operations. In this position, Riemann will be responsible for production, purchasing, manufacturing, engineering and order management. He will oversee 275 employees and will report directly to Armin Groeber, MTU Onsite Energy chief executive officer.

Riemann began his career with MTU Onsite Energy (formerly Katolight) in 1983 as assembly lead. Over the course of his 26 years with the company, he has held numerous management positions including parts and service manager and director of training. In his most recent position as the after sales manager, Riemann managed a team of 32 people and was responsible for parts, service, training and warranty.

Additional management personnel appointments at MTU Onsite Energy are as follows:

 
  • Mark Seely: Replaces Todd Riemann as the MTU Onsite Energy after sales manager, responsible for the company's after sales activities in North America. Prior to this appointment, Seely was a corporate account project manager. In this new role, Seely will report to Dave Sears, director, after sales.
  • Charlie Trier: Promoted to parts and service manager for MTU Onsite Energy, from parts manager, reporting to Mark Seely.
  • David Pitzer: Appointed as regional sales manager for the Eastern U.S., reporting to Al Prosser, director, onsite energy sales and application engineering. Prior to this appointment, Pitzer was the industrial sales manager.
  • Steve Hanek: Promoted from account manager to replace David Pitzer as industrial sales manager. In this role, Hanek will also report to Al Prosser.
