ISE-Magtech Introduces Worlds First HART® 7 Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter

ISE-Magtech, a world-class manufacturer of industrial level instrumentation announced the introduction of their LTM 250/350, the worlds first HART® 7 Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter.

Pearland, TX (PRWEB) October 11, 2009 -- ISE-Magtech, a world-class manufacturer of industrial level instrumentation announced the introduction of their LTM 250/350, the worlds first HART® 7 Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter.

The LTM-250/350 series level transmitters are based on the principle of magnetostriction, first used for digital delay lines and later precision distance or displacement in the machine tool industry. This principle, has potentially very high measurement resolution, typically better than 0.001 inch. The device has a wide variety of uses in refining of oil and gas, as well as power generation, pulp & paper, chemical and food and drug industries and food processing industries to control or monitor the level of liquids and solids.

ISE-Magtech is the first to offer HART® 7. The benefits of HART® 7 are compatibility with standard 4-20mA wiring, simultaneous transmission of digital data, simplicity through intuitive menu-drive interfaces, risk reduction through highly accurate and robust protocol, ease of implementation, upfront cost savings, platform independence and full interoperability in multi-vendor environments.

According to Syed Sultan, VP of Engineering, users worldwide who realized the benefits of HART Communication know that they can gain quick, easy visibility to devices in the field when using HART-enabled handheld test, calibration devices and portable computers. In fact, device testing, diagnostics and configuration has never been easier. "Engineers operating in analog automation environments no longer need to utter the words 'if only I could get the device information without going into the field' or 'if only I could get this configuration information from that level transmitter into my PC.'

According to Sultan, "The LTM-250/350 offers end-users great ease-of-use and safety benefits". He adds, "Users can now simply tune out any noise on the loop and eliminate other interferences, prevent calibration outside of factory allowed values, move the probe to accommodate top or bottom mounting, interact with very friendly menus and effectively set it and forget it".

"We are proud to be first in offering a magnetostrictive level transmitter with HART® 7" said Jodi Bernier, President of ISE-Magtech. "We're confident the acceptance by the marketplace will make our substantial investment in research and development payoff because it truly does offer our customers with a reliable, accurate and time-saving level control."

ISE-Magtech with its headquarters in Pearland, TX. is a privately held firm founded in 1976. The company is the world leader in magnetic level control. For more information contact Mike Gallatin at 800-221-3653.
