The 500th clinic, located at 3150 Route 22W in Branchburg, NJ, is owned by Teri and Bob Jenkins, who also opened two other Massage Envy clinics in New Jersey this year. Just three years ago, Teri had her first Massage Envy experience while visiting her son in Arizona after a snow storm back East delayed her flight home.
"A good friend of mine bought me a gift card to Massage Envy because she loved it so much," said Teri Jenkins. "From the moment I walked in the door, I knew I wanted to open a massage therapy clinic myself." Teri and Bob had previously spent 19 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Massage Envy has become a family business for the Jenkins, as Teri's sister manages one of the clinics; her brother and mother-in-law have both invested time and money; and her sons even help out at the front desk when not at school.
