Philadelphia (PRWEB) October 23, 2012
Matlack Leasing is excited to announce that it is again offering new DOT 407 tank trailers and DOT 412 stainless steel tank trailers designed to transport chemicals, corrosive materials and flammable products, such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and many others. The new DOT 407 tank trailers come equipped with insulation, and both the DOT 407 and DOT 412 have steam heat capabilities and rear discharge to serve a broader range of customers. In addition, customization, including vapor recovery, can be added to meet product specifications.
“Some might question why a company would invest millions of dollars in new equipment in this economy, but new equipment gives our customers the option of hauling products that have a very restrictive prior products list,” says Jim Rogers, Vice President of Sales for Matlack Leasing. “Also, who doesn’t appreciate a new set of wheels?”
New equipment reduces downtime, promotes driver satisfaction and reduces the cost per mile of operation. Carrying up to 7,000 gallons, the new DOT 407 Tank Trailer is equipped with rear unloading and steam capabilities. DOT 412 stainless steel 5,000-gallon rear unloaders will also soon be available from Matlack Leasing. Designed to haul acids and heavy corrosive liquids safely, these units can be lined to meet specific customer and product requirements.
DOT 407 and DOT 412 tank trailers offered by Matlack Leasing are manufactured by Brenner Tank and Bulk Tank International, part of Walker Group Holdings, which were recently acquired by Wabash National Corporation.
Matlack Leasing is committed to its mission of maintaining the youngest fleet in the industry and takes pride in making inventory available to meet customer needs when and where it’s needed. The company regularly invests in new equipment, so check back periodically for new arrivals. Matlack Leasing also builds tanks for customer specific requirements.
