Pathways Home Health, Hospice & Private Duty is offering a one-time grief workshop, Memorial Tile Making. Carol David, a Pathways Hospice Bereavement Volunteer, with over seven years of experience in creating handmade tiles and mosaics will lead this workshop. Memorial Tile Making grief workshop attendees will be encouraged to express their feelings as they make a memory tile in honor of their loved one. This workshop includes working with wet clay to create a tile that attendees can stamp, build upon, carve or wherever their creativity leads them.
The Memorial Tile Making grief workshop will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. at the Pathways Hospice offices at 585 N. Mary Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA, 94085. The Memorial Tile Making workshop is one of nine workshops offered by Pathways Hospice as part of the Pathways 2012 Summer Grief Workshop Series. Other workshops include meditation, self-exploration, silent writing, memorial garden, and guided imagery. These workshops provide several creative and reflective outlets to those grieving the loss of a loved one.
